Participation and consultation
The Western Isles Forum meets regularly with Hebridean Housing Partnership's (HHP) senior officers. These discussions include participation in HHP's development and investment plans, which are a constant agenda item at forum meetings.
The Forum also sends delegates to Regional and National seminars and conferences, and replies to government consultation papers on a multitude of subjects from housing to health and the environment. If you want to know more about how the forum works contact us Contact.
wider action- local and national
The Forum has two delegates on the Regional Network and has been involved in discussions on renewable energy and fuel poverty. We are also an active member of Positive Action in Housing, consulting on homelessness and minority issues. If you have issues you want raised at the regional or national level contact kevin@wiftra.org.
We welcome contact from community associations and informal residents groups and affiliation to WIFTRA is free for these groups. To find out more contact: secretary@wiftra.org.

Our 2010 tenant's conferences were held in Stornoway and Uist with over 100 people being involved. Look out for the report coming shortly.....Here
